Solace was born.
The first store opened its doors in Mooloolaba on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast in 2006. The result was a space offering the open-minded surfer something new and different. The team takes its influence from creative souls, whether it be paint on canvas, shaping of foam or carving their own lines through a wave. Choosing to surround ourselves with everything from art and photography, innovative surfboards and clothing, all created by like-minded souls.
As the months roll on Solace has gone from strength to strength, fuelled by word of mouth and reputation. Solace stands up for what we believe in, and from the overwhelming positive response we continue to receive, we’re happy to see we’re not the only ones.
Now that the Solace roots are firmly grounded, we can all help to keep the purity of surfing alive today.
